One Yellow Rabbit presents Flux in the City, a Major Matt Mason Collective Production in Collaboration with Contemporary Calgary
This ain’t your grandpa’s municipal consultation. Intrepid theatre artists and amateur urbanists, Nathaniel Hanula-James and Wesley Reibeling, try to reinvent one of the most frustrating, opaque, and downright boring processes known to humankind: the municipal consultation. At its heart, this show is a celebration of the glorious messiness that makes every city exciting and unique. This world premiere of Flux in the City speaks directly to the city of Calgary: its past, its present, and where it might go from here.
January 25, 2pm performance will be Audio Described and ASL Interpreted.
An audio-described performance provides narration of visual elements, such as actions, settings, and costumes, for blind or visually impaired audience members. This narration is delivered through a headset, enhancing accessibility and engagement.
An ASL performance integrates Sign Language into the show, providing accessibility for Deaf and hard-of-hearing audience members.
One Yellow Rabbit is pleased to partner with Contemporary Calgary for these performances. Come to the venue early and enjoy discounted entry. Just show your One Yellow Rabbit ticket at Contemporary Calgary’s reception to receive $2 off admission to view three incredible exhibitions.
